How the adventure goes
A gust of wind has blown away the six letters of the password to the Archive of Little Stories. Your team has to get them back.
- Before you goForm your team and sign your pact. Bring the booklet, a pencil and water; there is nothing to buy and no building to enter.
- Where it startsThe Puerta de la Independencia, inside the Retiro, opposite the Puerta de Alcalá.
- Six missionsPast the Turtle Fountain, the north side of the Great Pond and the Alfonso XII monument. Each mission gives you one letter.
- If you get stuckThe booklet has clues, and the answers are on the adult's cards.
- At the endOpen the archive, tell your little story and put the sticker in the passport.
You walk back the same way. Take breaks, answer out loud and keep the memory pages for home.
Questions families ask
What age is it for?
Children aged 6 to 9, always with a grown-up who reads along and decides where to walk and stop.
Do we need a phone or an app?
No. Everything is in the booklet: clues, missions and answers for the grown-up. We suggest everyone puts their phone away while you play, grown-ups included.
Do we need tickets?
No. The walk is outdoors in Retiro Park, and you don't need to enter any building or buy anything.
Where does it start?
At the Puerta de la Independencia, the Retiro entrance opposite the Puerta de Alcalá. The nearest metro is Retiro.
What if we get stuck on a mission?
The booklet has clues, and the grown-up's cards have the answers. Asking for help is part of the game too.

What comes in the pack
This booklet comes in the Madrid pack with the other three adventures: each 20-page booklet has four double-sided adult cards, plus a collection passport, four stickers and a kraft envelope. Finishes are subject to the printed sample.
