How the adventure goes
The wind is back in the Archive of Little Stories and has taken the oldest password of all. The letters have flown to the west of Madrid, and a bronze horse who has stood for centuries helps you find them.
- Before you goForm your team and sign your pact. Bring the booklet, a pencil, water and comfortable shoes: there are slopes and steps. Everything is seen from outside.
- Where it startsPlaza de Oriente, in front of the statue of the king on horseback. Metro: Ópera.
- Six missionsFrom the statue of Philip IV to the view of the Royal Palace, the Sabatini Gardens and the Temple of Debod. Each mission gives you one letter.
- Distance and timeAbout 1.5 km, 60 to 90 minutes with stops. You finish near Plaza de España metro.
- At the endOpen the archive, tell your little story and put the sticker in the passport.
Today's theme is time: very old things that are still here. You don't need to go inside the palace; if you'd like to see the changing of the guard, check its times on patrimonionacional.es.
